We produce high quality welfare friendly pork which is why we are proud to be members of the RSPCA Assured pig scheme.
All our pigs are born outside, weaned into outdoor tents before returning to open straw barns here at Lane Farm.
Our products are produced safely and hygienically which is why we are SALSA accredited and FSA audited.
We intend to minimise the amount of non recyclable waste we use on site. All our trays are made from recycled plastics and can be recycled nationally. By the end of 2021 the film we use to pack our whole salami and chorizo will be able to be recycled at your local supermarket.
In 2015 solar panels were installed on our buildings which can generate up to 20% of the electricity we use. By October 2021 all the electricity used at Lane Farm will be generated using renewable energy. We are proud to have been awarded Silver from the Suffolk Carbon trust for our efforts towards becoming greener and more environmentally sustainable.
